Mastering the realms of creativity

Creative project management is all about getting things done in the best way possible.  

If you are familiar with The Arrington Method, then you have probably heard the rumor that it can be great for a project at any stage of its magic, and that’s the truth. 

The Arrington Method’s model is comprised of three Realms: Nvizun, Discover & Create; each with the goal of Mastering the Realm by showcasing accomplished deliverables on the Realm’s Exhibit. 

Nvizun Realm

Enter the Nvizun Realm, when your vision is not completely worked out. Dreaming with your idea means embracing it by living inside the impossibility of the idea and appreciating everything it is and is not. Allow yourself to flush all areas of your idea, finding creative ways to collaborate and appreciate the magic of bringing together those who support and value your vision on a level that will prepare it for ultimate success.  

Mastering the Nvizun Realm, means that you have successfully accomplished all areas of the Exhibit:

The vision has a Name, Imagery, and Colors that provides clear connections to the vision and its goals. The initial Vision Statement is strong and fluid, and Components are selected to help organize thoughts and ideas. The vision tells a Story that the identified Target Profile will connect with when the vision is shared.  

Discover Realm

Enter the Discover Realm when your vision is ready for exploration that allows you to uncover the who, what, when, where and how. There is a necessity for resources connecting to the vision to drive success around the work that needs to be completed.

You are ready to transport from this Realm once you have designed and explored the Initial Prototype, leading to positive updates to the Vision Statement and the creation of a Vision Journey that documents your audience’s path and interaction with the vision. All needed Skills have been uncovered and those special mavens that are going to breathe life into your vision to make it a reality have Full Clarity. You have determined what special ideas are needed to masterfully craft your vision and captured those precise details in the Final Prototype.

Create  Realm

This is the realm of action and possibilities where innovation and ideation are welcomed while the work is completed, and the mavens are consistently inspired while remaining connected to the goals of the vision.

 The result of mastering this Realm offers a true and honest reflection of the magic that circulates throughout the realm. It is built to maintain focus on the Vision Statement, shine light on Visual Progress, and provide representations of Target Budget and Timeline, against Actual Budget and Timeline.  Everyone embraces Reflections and Special Highlights throughout the journey while the visionary also captures thoughts, ideas, and inspiration for how you move forward once the vision has wings.  

Mastering the Realms is the top priority of each stage. Honoring the process and giving it all you’ve got will allow you to reap the reward of its success.
